Our SQA Combined techniques students are at the half way stage producing some inspiring work in our pottery studios.
Combined techniques is a Certificated unit studied over 30 weeks allowing students to work throughout that time on one single theme.
Time on one theme encourages students to think, explore and think and explore again. This approach further encourages complex thinking leading to interesting and exciting new work.

Alex at Edinburgh design school curated Collidoscope at Edinburgh Palette.

Collidoscope

Interesting things happen when elements collide

Collidoscope seeks to bridge the traditional divisions between Fine Art, Design and Craft.

One Fine artist, two Textile artists, one Printmaker, two Potters and the Edinburgh Guerilla Knitters have collided together to show in Galley 3.

The work on show represents, nostalgia, culture, nature and anonymity.
