Great night tonight a with the Edinburgh Design School Potters. The wheels were turning and some really good pots were emerging from raw clay. I'll post the work when its dried and fired.

Warli Detail

Tribal Block Print
We found this block printed Sari in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is hand printed using a carved wooden block onto raw silk. We pass it every day at EDS HQ and we love it.

Jantar Mantar
New Delhi
This astronomical observatory was built by Maharaja Jai Singh from 1724. it is such a great work of functional architecture with wonderful constructivist lines. Great inspiration for pattern and patchwork. We visited last time we were in India and we loved it.
